I recently had the opportunity to test a brandy-spankin’-new pattern by Jen over at Tie Dye Diva! I have owned so many of her patterns over the years, and this is the second time I’ve had the chance to test for her!
If you’ve never tried one Jen’s patterns, I suggest you RUN (do not walk, do not pass GO, do not collect $200, just RUN) over to her website and find one to purchase NOW! They are beginner-friendly, well-written, contain clear and concise instructions, and just enough pictures to to get you through it without being confusing!
This time, I got to test the ‘Jon & Janie Romper & Bubble’ pattern, and my sweet Miss G got her first attempt at ‘real’ modeling.
*I must insert a shout-out here to my older daughter, Miss A, for her help with this photo shoot! Without her smiles, cheers, and most of all, BUBBLES, we would not have made it through!*
This pattern comes with so many options! You can make a bubble (which we did) or a romper (no elastic in the legs). You can make it long or short (like ours). You can use buttons (yup) or snaps for the straps, and there are three options for the crotch finishings- snaps, snap tape, or a fixed seam (that’s what we chose!).
The yoke leaves you space for appliques, or you can choose to showcase a fun print or even a monogram would look great! We accented our yoke with colorful ricrac, but other testers also tried out piping and ruffles, while some just left it alone.
So, here are a few photos we managed to get of Miss G *kind of* standing still…
So, if you’re in the market for a super-cute, super-fun, super-easy pattern, head on over to Tie Dye Diva‘s site and grab this one! It’s on sale from now until Saturday for only $5!
Bye bye for now from Miss G!
